What an amazing weekend had by all attendees of the newly formatted 2016 Jump Alberta Symposium held at Rocky Mountain Show Jumping November 19th & 20th!
Presenters Shelley Campf (Hunters & Equitiation) and Candice King (Jumpers) lead the audience through several structured training sessions, skill development and enhancement exercises as well as mock derby-round judging, hunter scoring, techniques to save precious time in the jump off and so much more!
In addition — local Alberta breeders hosted a beautiful stallion showcase Saturday evening capped off with a wine & cheese event allowing attendees to mingle and discuss development of young horses through breeder operations.
A most sincere THANK YOU to Claudia Cojocar for her role as Chairperson of the newly formatted 2016 Symposium and to both Shelley Campf & Candice King for imparting their wisdom to Jump Alberta members and fellow provincial equestrians for a very educational and developmental weekend!
Plans are already underway for the 2017 edition of the Symposium as Jump Alberta continues to strive to fulfill its mandate of providing educational opportunities & initiatives for its membership base.
